Having the VIP snack bar on the 24 floor with free drinks including alcoholic gave a good value to the stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were a little tight and the pool could be cleaned a little more often.

Lovely hotel just five minutes walk from the centre of Poblenou (restaurants, bars, etc) but also on the Diagonal and just 20 minutes walk to the Forum Park. We have stayed in various hotels in this area and this one is definitely one of the best. The buffet breakfast is outstanding and the pool is big enough to actually swim in.

The breakfast buffet was too expensive and you could not use the whole buffet
-
Not sure, the views I guess the breakfast was limited, the room service came with no dishes, when they came the food was already cold, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, the staff enters the room without knocking (happened 4 times in my stay)

Nice rooms and level place service Overcharging for early check in

The pool is beautiful and staff are accommodating and friendly The rooms are completely not soundproof - I could hear the next door neighbor coming into his room and hear what he was saying. Room quality is very disappointing for a Melia hotel - many parts look hastily done or very old and cheaply finished, i.e. Flooring laminate isn't even and some parts seemed to have a weird air bubble when walked above it, and basically the whole room finish is like this. They don't have a mirror in front of you in the 'bath', instead on the side - super strange - but on the small 'side wall'. The breakfast is ok but not tasty, and the area of the hotel is also a bit seedy. All in all, the hotel looks only beautiful in photos and at the pool, and in the rooms it is definitely not feeling Premium at all. Totally not worth the price.

The view We liked everything

We had a wonderful stay in Barcelona. Our room was on the 17th floor with a stunning sea view—it was absolutely amazing to wake up to that every day. The room itself was great, especially the bathtub, which added a nice touch of comfort and relaxation. We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we weren’t able to use the outdoor pool, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, which really enhanced the overall experience. There wasn’t any indoor pool.

fully recommend for a short state as a urban hotel, very convenient hotel but with no personality and the rooms are cold. Also, Netflix and podcast usually doesn’t work since I’ve stayed many times and it’s always been out of service. I fully recommend “the level “ part of the hotel which is a total different experience, rooms are better, and for not that much for me you get experience on the roof breakfast and the rooftop bar…. “ the level “ by Melià and I’m putting as a professional in hotel industry is one of the best if not the best five star kind of luxury 5 stars hotel experience but on a budget that it’s offered around the world. The coldness of the ground floor, where breakfast is offered for a Melià standard and nothing else, part of a bit detailed design on the rooms the rest is excellent as expected

The best hotel in Barcelona

The room, felt like a little run down. The fridge had multiple bends on it, the batroom tiles had missing fillings sometimes, and the whole place looked like that it was used heavily over the years. My biggest complaint is that during my stay I was locked out of the room because I've exceeded my "limit" of 200 euros of ordered items to my room. This means, when I came back from the sauna and massage I had to go down to the lobby in my bathrobes soked in water to ask for a new card. This limit was not communicated prior to the lockout, and there are single items with more than 200 euros on the sauna card. This was really insulting, and felt out of place.

The room setup is dreadful, it has an open space concept where the bathroom has no door, the door to the toilet is a window partly matified that does not fully close. The room is separated from the bathroom with a transparent windows, no privacy at all! Also the light and the air conditioning kept going off at random times.

Everything was fantastic.Great stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff. Would recommend!" Everything was good

Clean, breakfast was great like always. The air conditioner continues to be an issue. The temperature on the room is not cold enough. It makes very difficult to have a good night sleep. We had the same issue when we stayed September 17-18.

Location. A bit of an issue with the air conditioner. Quick response and moved us to another room.

The location was perfect, and staying on The Level definitely added a touch of luxury to the experience. I really appreciated the tapas hour — such a smart option if you’ve just arrived or want a quick bite before dinner. The breakfast area was both beautiful and relaxing, with tasty and varied options to start the day. The room itself was comfortable, and the beds were great for a good night's sleep. The views were also a nice bonus. The open-concept layout of the room lacked privacy — the toilet wasn’t in a separate space, which isn’t ideal for ventilation or comfort. The shower was also quite small, and the bathtub felt unnecessary given the space could’ve been used more effectively. For a room booked under The Level, I expected a bit more in terms of furnishings and design. Also, the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t functional for doing makeup — mostly backlighting with no good mirror setup.
