Hotel SERHS Del Port

Simple, clean facilities, helpful staff. No ice machine. But hotel staff was happy to give me two cups of ice when asked.

Great location, especially since I was traveling alone. Customer service was excellent. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and chic. When I return to Barcelona, I will definitely book there again. N/A

Very clean and staff was awesome

Check in was painfully slow and seemed chaotic even though rooms were prepaid. Slow to respond to housekeeping requests.

Right next to the subway station which was very convenient. Rooms were air conditioned. They allowed us to store our luggage after checkout for a few hours before our flight. It was not a great part of town, but overall still a good experience. Just would not walk around there late at night.

We were very happy with the hotel! Staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions, directions, etc. The breakfast was excellent every day. The location was ideal, very close to the Metro and we liked the area.

Very clean and central. The staff was excellent very courteous. Is there anything negative to say is the street it’s a little dirty but it’s still a great place to stay because of the proximity to La Rambla, the cruise port and the metro

Hotel is a great position 10 mins from Columbus statue and La Ramblas and good for walk to Montjuïc

The staff were wonderful, 15 out of 10 ? The room was outdated, unaesthetic, uncomfortable. There wasn’t even a place to hang a coat. No slippers were provided. Once you put your suitcase on the luggage stand, there was barely any space left to walk around the bed. There wasn’t even a proper blanket — they only gave a small throw to cover yourself with. I won’t even start about the fact that there was no toilet brush in the bathroom. The pillow smelled strongly of old sweat, even though it had a freshly changed pillowcase. That was just disgusting experience! It was nice to find a bottle of wine in the room, but unfortunately the glasses were dirty and had someone else’s lipstick marks on them. The window faced a narrow alley where you could see the balconies of neighboring apartments full of random laundry and etc. It honestly looked like people in the close buildings might be living in very poor conditions. The environment was very noisy — I needed earplugs just to be able to sleep. Overall, a very bad experience. I would not return to this hotel. I’m also very disappointed with the Booking.com app, because it doesn’t allow you to properly assess the real quality of a hotel. The information presented is misleading, and it’s impossible to judge the true condition until you physically enter the room. By the way, the staff were wonderful — but the hotel itself is essentially out of dated. I would give only one star to it, especially considering that it’s located in the center of Barcelona. Shame on the owners. Truly pathetic.

We were not so interested in the breakfast and preferred to go out instead for different/better selection. Our room was at the front of the property low down and so there was some street noise.

The size of the bed was great, it was comfortable and the room was clean. The noise from the hallway, you could hear everything. The breakfast room is too small.

Secure and cute room. They have a great selection for breakfast. The bed was rock hard and super uncomfortable. Also no fridge!! The tortilla de patatas at the breakfast bar always looked old.
