Clean and friendly staff Spacious room Food is tasty Location is perfect
-
Staff was friendly and attentive, food was decent and location was great. The AC barely worked, the amenities were not the best, room was a bit smaller than what I expected, the safety deposit box didn't work and when I called to get it replaced no one came.
-
I like the general decor and vibe of the hotel. Room was good! Spa/pool was quite a nice touch too. Some of the staff could have been more pleasant in their vibe but it didn't ruin my experience in the hotel. Light sensor had issues - meaning some light room lights stayed on during the night.
-
Light system in the room, the light sensor was not working properly which case we have to sleep while the lights are on

First of all I must compliment the front desk staff, Albert. WOW what an example of perfection when it comes to making guests feel welcomed and appreciated. We had stayed at this property a few years ago and we were happy to have had an opportunity to stay again. Since it was the Tour de France start we were limited to our selection but maybe it was a good thing. This hotel has a short walk to 2 metro stations. The hotel also has parking available - the narrow drive and turns will intimidate even a long time driver that is for sure. The lobby is large and has several comfortable options to sit. The rooms are large, super clean, and offer several USB ports. The bed is so comfortable that you may want to just sleep in and the sheets are nice and crisp yet soft. I loved the shower since the water pressure is strong. The bonus is that you have access to a spa area in the hotel. It was a super hot day and we we took advantage of just going down and cooling our bodies off. Swim caps are provided at no charge. There are specific times that children are allowed. I enjoyed the steam room, various showers, the salt room, the walking on rocks with water jets and being able to stand under the waterfall in the pool area to massage my feet and back. I also love that ZERO cell phones are allowed in the area. Robes and slippers are in the rooms so you can just wear them down. Make sure that you check out the rooftop bar. The views of Barcelona, especially at night, are amazing. One our stay there was a DJ and there is nothing like relaxing after a full day with some music while sitting and staring in awe at Sagrada Familia. There are several clubs in the area BUT the windows make it all soundproof. The only thing that I could improve would be for the hotel not to have hours for the gym.
-
spa, meals, room We never had our TV made accesible, even tho we were told someone would fix it
-
Loved the vibe There wasn’t much bedding and the kids hours on the pool were definitely a good idea but set at strange times which made it inaccessible. More than anything it was very hard to get responses from the hotel before the trip.

Nothing , I was pretty happy ?

Staffs are approachable and helpful. Acess to spa/pool is limited, there is specific time when you can go or use the pool. No tissues on the table,, and they are not refilling coffe.
-
The breakfast has everything that you want. There is a club in the back side and in he weekend it made it quite hard to fall asleep .

too expensive for what it is

Location was good, not a super busy/loud neighborhood but still enough places to eat in the area. Cleaning staff did an exceptional job tidying the room for us daily. Convenient to have a restaurant downstairs for the days we were too tired to go find somewhere else to eat. Room was a bit on the smaller size for a family of 4, could use some updating. Cleaning staff was lovely and personable, front desk staff not so much. Refrigerator was filled with mini bar items, leaving minimal space for our own things.

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived in the evening, waited about 1 hr. Water was dripping from air conditioning vent creating a puddle on the floor. Their only solution was to provide a bucket. Hotel also located in bad area of town (drug use on street, police arrests). We left hotel often one night.
