Great location, right in the centre, even with all the noise the room was quiet so quiet my two boys 10&12 slept around 10 hours a night, the beds where comfortable, great breakfast and very helpful staff None

Beautiful old building with many remaining features but cheaply refurbished. Could be really classy. Poorly thought out room facilities. No electric sockets at the bedside for phone charging. One spare socket point in an extension lead. Really not good enough for over €180 a night.

The Hotel has a great reception at an excellent lobby with easy check in and friendly personnel. The hotel is on the Las Ramblas which is very convenient to go to all the tourist attractions such Plaza Real, Plaza Catalunya, Boqueria Market, the Columbus Monument and the beach. Breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of breads, cheese, cakes, eggs, fruit and cereals and great coffee and juice and also vegetables. The superior room has a balcony with a view on the Las Ramblas which we liked. There are free water stations on each floor. The room also has a water station and fridge which we appreciated and were airconditioned properly. The hotel can be easily reached from the international El Prat airport via the Aerobus to station Plaza Cataluniya (30 minutes ride) and then a 15 minute walk to the hotel . This bus can be accessed every 10 to 15 minutes. Bus tickets can be bought at special ticket machines or at the bus station via special agents working at the bus platform. There are renovations going on at Las Ramblas, which made this area a bit less walkable and there comes some noise from the work at day time.

Based on the heat wave that was occurring, the room and hotel were very comfortable. The hotel had a classically romantic feel and the water service available was wonderful. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed at times, but it wasn't anything that was a big deal. The selection of breakfast food was wonderful. The cost of the breakfast.
