The location was perfect. Very near to the Metro, to Paseig de Gracia and La Sagrada. The room we were eventually given was very good, clean, roomy and well maintained. I must compliment Manager ALBERT RAMIREZ. This would have been a very bad review had it not been for Mr Ramirez. The initial room we were given was NOT what we booed and paid for with little understanding and empathy from the clerk at the front desk. We stuck it out the first night. The next day Mr Ramirez intervened, was very attentive and listened well. He apologized and moved us to another room. To our surprise it was a suite on the top floor with a balcony and terrace. Thanks to Mr Ramirez, he salvaged our visit to Barcelona and made this stay at Catalonia Gracia a memorable one. MR ALBERT RAMIREZ is a manager who understands customer service and is very empathetic! My initial encounter with the unsympathetic front desk clerk who had a serious attitude.

The beds were very comfortable, there were lots of restaurants and supermarkets close by and the roof top pool was the perfect size for my 8 year old. We ended up getting a lot of taxis to get to main tourist attractions, the pool and the surrounding terrace were quite small.

Todo me gustó. Realmente no encuentro algo que requiera recomendación. Desde la atención del personal al llegar, pasando por el tamaño y estado de la habitación, hasta los desayunos y las zonas comunes. Muy buen hotel en todos los aspectos. Nada realmente. Todo estuvo dentro de las expectativas.
