Staff went above and beyond - much appreciated

Great location, friendly and helpful...

From the time we arrived, we were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff members. Property was extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was grab and go but delicious. Location was walking distance from everything. We were there with our 2 adult kids and we all loved it. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the landscaping and flowers everywhere. The people at the front desk were exceptional and spoiled my kids every chance they got. Appreciated the breakfast foods, lemonade, and desserts that were all included and available anytime. Nothing, met all our needs!

Our suite was clean. It was somewhat dated. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Bed was comfy. We did have a flight of steps to get to our suite. No elevator. I did notice staff helping with bags up stairs. Parking was limited one evening when we arrived back late. We were there Saturday night and Sunday night. Location is very good for downtown area.

The hotel was in great proximity to the center of town and Acadia. Parking was plentiful. The staff were always so sweet and helpful. They also serve the finest coffee and afternoon treats which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautifully landscaped, multiple building property. It has abundant on-site parking. Wonderful downtown location, on a quiet side street, within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops is another plus. Our room was large, had a very comfortable bed, windows that opened (a big plus for us) and in a lovely garden setting. The biggest plus was the delightful, friendly, helpful staff. Christopher, "The best concierge ever-01" went above and beyond with our check-in, suggestions, knowledge, fun personality and great sense of humor. It was easy to leave feeling valued. We hope to someday return.

Nice and quiet, a little further from the noise of the main walking streets. The lady named Rachel at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Wish the water pressure was better in the shower.

Bar Harbor Manor is a good hotel for a visit in the city. The property is walkable to all of the parks, restaurants, marina, and shopping. The staff is very helpful. The hotel provides both morning muffins and coffee, along with afternoon lemonade and other treats, along with other grab and go items.

We had a great stay. Christopher at the front desk was outstanding. He gave great recommendations for dinner.

Exceptional

If I could give 6 stars to the staff, I would. They were exceptional. The lobby had freshly-made treats every day. The location was within walking distance to the stores & restaurants.

Last minute booking and I was not expecting much since it was prime season and almost no availability around town. What a great surprise when we arrived! The hotel was well kept, the 2 queen bed rooms were very spacious for our family of four, and there was parking right outside our room. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful as our second day we had torrential rain for a solid 4 hours and they jumped in to offer suggestions on what to do indoors. The hotel is in walking distance to a grocery store and a few restaurants along with downtown shopping district.

Christopher and Rebecca were awesome They’re grab & go breakfast was perfect and they even offered gluten-free options The room we had was very nice and clean with our own private little balcony to relax
