Nothing to mention here. But to improve further, we may be suggest some cleaning as some part of building may need it due to dust etc. We love the place overall and nothing really to complain.

Staff are communicative and helpful. Check in is effortless and uncomplicated. Breakfast was just what was needed and unfussy. Shame that my room only had a single bed - a little awkward for a fully grown adult in the 21st century.

Communal areas could do with some TLC

Check in was quick and easy, staff gave all the information required including how to access the Wifi and order breakfast. The hotel was in an excellent location with lovely views of the Menai Strait and was very quiet. My bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and the tea and coffee making generous. Good value for money. The public rooms were a little tired decor wise but for the price it was good.

Only one window opened and then only a small amount. This made the room too hot and it couldn't be cooled down.

This was a place that was probaly amazing in it's day. It is a little old now, but the staff and the accomidations made it wonderful. We also enjoyed the breakfast that came with renting the room. I would recomend this place if you are not expecting fancy, It was a good experince. The paint in some places was flaking off and there were some stains on the wall

I loved everything about staying here. It was so beautiful and had a lot of trails to walk on around it as well as close access to the town area!

We stay here often but it's location and price led and the actual rooms are ok. Light not working in room, sink was slow to drain possibly blocked. Building is tired and scruffy, bar areas looking old, worn and dirty. Breakfast usually good, but sausages were inedible this time.

Close to train station, very large breakfast options, victorian features, large window in room on a hill, curtain for bathroom door, carpets need deep cleaning

I like that there was a sports bar attached to the hotel. The room was incredibly hot and the subdued were screwed down so they could not be opened. The bed was uncomfortable and everything creaked constantly, from the floors to the doors.

Reasonably priced. Good breakfast. Staff friendly. Room a bit tired and not particularly clean, looking like the minimum clean was done. Beds clean and comfy though, just the room in general was not very clean. Seriously understaffed, had to wait to check in as a queue at the bar. I've stayed here before and it's been better.

Location was great. Breakfast was OK Bedroom was very tired and worn out. The whole place needs a make over. Its a very 'studenty' bar (which i get because of the location) but I didnt feel welcomed.

We had a great stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The bar downstairs has a great selection of beers, cocktails and shots. There was also a karaoke which we enjoyed. Great location Shower pressure was extremely weak Breakfast was okay but slightly under cooked Eggs were very snotty which doesn't bother me but if it does you then I suggest you order scrambled
