This is the second time we stay at the Standard and it didn’t disappoint: great location in Bangkok’s most amazing skyscraper, great interior decor, very spacious rooms and, above anything else, the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. Whether front desk, housekeeping, restaurants, the whole team is exceptional. The guest experience team in particular has been extremely helpful is organising salon bookings, recommending restaurants and packing and shipping all of our shopping back home. I honestly have never seen such levels of service before in a 5 stars hotel. Standard Bangkok, we love you and we will be back! A very little thing has changed since our last stay 2 years ago; the breakfast menu, which we liked better before as it had more Thai desserts (and was only à la carte—we don’t like the buffet format very much, although this buffet was good). As vegetarians, the earlier format and selection suited us better.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Standard Bangkok. The hotel has a cool vibe with beautiful interiors and a fun design. The Twin Room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for two people. The service wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still excellent. The location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths, right across from the BTS station, in a quieter area with plenty of great cafes and restaurants nearby, while still being close to all the main attractions. I’d definitely stay here again while in Bangkok.

Property was located next to the BTS station connected via the mall opposite. Making travel all over Krung Thep easy. Main entrance is not connected with shelter and front desk is located on the upper level, which means guest have to change twice to return to their room. Overall experience was marred by concierge team damaging the luggage, the duty manager took awhile to review and mentioned nothing can be done because cctv footage in the storage room is managed by a different system (his word). Because it was a long day, couldn’t be bothered by the explanation and nonchalant attitude. Will I return? That depends

The only disappointment - the staff and the prosidure of check in - we felt like we are robbers, it took more than 20 minutes to get the keys because they were worried about the deposit, we had only Apple Pay and they wanted physical card (we weren’t told about it there wasn’t such a problem in other good hotels, including Thailand), they didn’t succeed to take deposit with Apple Pay and after that they told to wait 10 minutes more till they REMOVE all the minibar, we were very disappointed with this issue and fake smiles, the same atmosphere we felt when asked to leave the luggage, they did it, but behaviour wasn’t accceptable, like what do you want from us. In the restaurant during the breakfast was issue with salmon, we asked to bring cause it finished, they did it in the end, but it was so unpleasant. Would not stay again.

Excellent hotel, well located in an iconic building in Bangkok. I would definitely recommend. Pool and gym are excellent as well as all the team. Breakfast is exceptional.

Breakfast was amazing! So many choices! Location was great right off the BTS. Room was super nice and loved the gym. Views from the hotel room were incredible! Only downsides was the pool was quite cold and the whirlpool was as cold as the pool!

The Standard is an amazing hotel, with sleek, elegant interiors, wonderful rooms with great "urban" views, many facilities, and a central location. The wonderful staff promptly and patiently helped with every request! The famous Thai hospitality coupled with the standards of the Standard made our stay unforgettable!
