The Salil Hotel Riverside Bangkok

River boat from the hotel was great. Clean, comfortable room.

Rooms need to be carefully checked for cleaning. Othan that all good.

I would rate our stays in the salil riverside 11/10. The extra points goes to their great hospitality offered throughout our stays. They are just a bunch of great people who you can felt their passion. I forgot to get their names but it would definitely be our top priority to go to for our next stay. We had stayed at ananxxxx riverside and novoxxx but none of them can outperform the salil riverside. Truly appreciate their effort to make our trip greater.

We liked everything. Swimming pool, gym, pool and also video games. Breakfast was exceptional. You have everything and the staff are really amazing. Our standing here went so fast so that’s the only thing that we didn’t like.

Very small hotel and the rooms are kind of dark with low ceiling , or at least the one we took.

Friendliness of all the staff, cleanliness, promptness of service, breakfast buffet and accessibility to modes of transportation. Simply superb hotel. Thank you all guys!!!

Love it! Nothing

We like the location, very close to Asiatique mall, free boat transfer to Iconsiam but boat is small and can be super hot when your seat is facing the sun. We like the room we booked, it was spacious and clean. We also loved the Japanese style toilet. We didn't like the breakfast. For 4 days there was no variation and options are very limited. What upsets us most is that on those 4 days they never had oats, and when we asked on our last day they said it's ala carte and not part of the buffet so we have to pay for it for 250baht. We have travelled a lot, and this is the first time we've experienced this, we have never stayed in a hotel that didn't serve oats in their buffet. Some hotels go over and beyond for their guests but I didn't feel the same with Salil. It was a good stay but we don't feel like coming here again. As for the staff, most of them are nice but some we dont feel like they are genuine.

Design Front Staff could be improved to be more friendly

We really liked the overall style and atmosphere of the hotel. The swimming pool, riverside walkway, restaurants, and overall design created a very relaxing and cozy experience. The water therapy area was amazing! It had the biggest jacuzzi I’ve ever been in. Just keep in mind that it requires advance booking. We also needed a nanny during our stay, and the hotel was able to arrange one for our children. The fee depends on the number of children. Overall, the hotel has a warm, peaceful, and comfortable feeling. were a few things that could be improved. Some of the staff, especially a few of the female employees, came across as unfriendly and a bit arrogant. At times they ignored us when we asked for assistance, which was surprising because Thai people are usually known for being very kind and welcoming. The rooms also looked much larger in the photos than they actually are. Breakfast was disappointing. There were very few halal options, and most of the food was Thai. We ended up eating omelets every morning because that was almost the only thing we could eat. The breakfast restaurant staff also need more training in professionalism and English communication, as it was quite difficult to communicate with them. Since the hotel is located on the river, it can get quite noisy at night. Boats pass by playing loud music, which disturbed our children and affected their sleep.

Definitely a 5 star experience. The staff all over the property were kind, helpful, and informative. The private water taxi was a nice perk. Enjoyed the aqua spa, the jacuzzi was a nice surprise. It is worth adding the breakfast to your stay - you can eat at the restaurant, take it to go, or have it delivered to your room. They serve the buffet until 11am. A good variety to choose from. I had an opportunity to enjoy the cigar bar, the rooftop has an amazing view of the river. You must wear your bug spray. That building B’s elevator did not have air conditioning.

- 직원분들이 친절하긴 한데, 융통성 없는분도 계셔서 요구사항에 대해서 다른 직원한테 가면 해주는 경우가 있었습니다 - 위치가.. 너무 안좋았어요 지하철역이 도보 30분이라 호텔에서 운영하는 보트를 타야 했는데 직원분 번역이 잘못된건지 피곤해서 운영 그만할거라고 하는 경우도 있었구요 보트 배차 간격이 너무 길어요 30-40분씩 기다리기도 했었네요
