Hard to say what we liked as we got stuck in the hot box attic. It worked fine, just a pain and hot. Attic wasn’t great after how much we had to spend.

The lady on reception was very helpful

staff very clear and helpful, not intrusive, room nice and en suite great with bath. Good value for money, all I needed

Plenty of parking, when we could find the rear access. Quirky Victorian villa. Can walk into town centre. Lack of communication, no reply to my email which requested breakfast [which is advertised], but when I then asked upon arrival was told it was not available. Also, there was no one answering the phone, when we were having trouble finding the parking, yet someone was in reception when we eventually parked. There were just 2 slots for windows at ceiling height in our room, which did not appear to open.

Location. Easy to get to and private parking. Beds where hard, staff was hard to understand and gave zero details on the property.
-
Room dimensions were on the small side
-
good price-for-value for single night, private parking check-in at the very small 'reception' was unpersonal but ok, 'just the facts'.

Comfortable hotel, helpful staff, good value for money. Unfortunately my stay was rather ruined as the people in the room next door to me were awful. They were up until the early hours, talking very loudly, playing music and smoking. I did knock on the door to ask them to be quiet but they really didn't care. I had to phone the hotel at 2.30am (reception was shut), and thankfully the manager did pick up, and ask to be moved. He did kindly move me to a room on the bottom floor where I could no longer hear the inconsiderate neighbours. As the building is quite large, you couldn't hear people at the top floor so he had no idea that he had some inconsiderate guests staying in his hotel! Had this not happened I think my stay would have been far more pleasant, but these horrible people ruined it. I did manage to get a few hours kip once I had been moved, the room was on the bottom floor and away from the main road so it was very quiet!

Clean. No breakfast available No bar, no restaurant, no breakfast and hard to find car park.

The staff were friendly. Facilities all worked as expected. The property was an older property, the layout was interesting and things felt a bit dated but in keeping with tge type of property.

Location was good for me, room was warm and clean All taps said Not drinking water, so had to go a fair distance to buy water, no breakfast served either, and parking was awkward to get to, so some information on the booking would’ve been helpful.
