The room was spacious, with a full kitchen and a big refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable. The location is dangerous, with lots of homeless people and drugged adicts wandering around the property and its parking lot. The situation is so bad that you check-in through a bulletproof window where a lone employee will handle your key. And you only access the motel using your key on the front door, which is permanently closed and locked. A crazy guy stood nearby trying to access the lounge when some guest was leaving or coming in. My son was afraid some lunatic would break our car’s window glass to search for valuables inside. Therefore, he decided to drive to the closest truck stop and sleep inside the car, while I stayed at the hotel.

Parking was easy and free, the room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The property could use some simple, basic maintenance like interior painting a landscape work. But hey, it's a Motel 6, not the Ritz Overall good experience.

I come from a small town so im not used to seeing alot of homeless in one area. They are everywhere outside and in the halls. As long as you keep to yourself they dont bother you. Other than that I spent a week there and everything else was great.

Room floor was filthy. Never mopped. Feet turned black walking barefoot from bed to bath. Cabinet doors missing. Seems to be the standard for rooms on the third floor Daughters had room on second floor; world of difference. Room was clean and set up nice. Last guest chewed gum, found it behind the TV and in the bathroom. Third floor room filthy. Building location was where we needed it to be for our travel. Oh well.

room was spacious Animal feces all over property, IV drug use on property, group hangout with open drug use, blood in elevator and on floors. Dog urine stains all along careting. I am requesting a full refund for this hotel

The staff was friendly. The hotel and the room were very messy. The TV did not work. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

The employees made all the difference

The staff at this place went above and beyond to help us. I am in a wheelchair and I an disabled. I asked for a shower chair and they made it happen...I asked for a cart to help us move our things and they were so kind throughout our stay. The staff was the best part of my stay there.

Run down area I didn’t feel safe. It’s nothing like the photos.

Nothing it was horrible. Smelled terrible. There was crack heads outside no office. It was just a doorway to check in. A lady was covered in blood asking me to buzz her into the hotel. Everything. Terrible. Walked in for 5 mins and we smelled like shit when we left.

Staff was excellent the place needs a good remodel. And the characters outside creepy.

I want to start by saying Steven, Jessica and the manager were amazing they went above and beyond excellent staff apart from the night shift lady who couldn’t help me and was very dismissive. The area was rough but it’s Bakersfield so comes with the territory I’m learning. Still despite that everyone I met was kind. I’m a travel nurse so I never know what to expect. The rooms could use some work not dirty but not clean. My second room was well cleaned. Not sure I would stay again.
