We stay here EVERY time we visit our daughter at CSUB for the last 3 years! It is close to campus and their breakfast is the BEST we have ever had at a hotel! Changes almost daily with still the faves there. Spacious rooms with a cute little kitchenette and all the staff is kind and helpful. The ladies who make the breakfast are as sweet as can be! This most recent trip, we had a pet emergency at home and had to leave early. We had a non refundable rate but the night manager (wish I could remember her name! Very pretty, dark hair, beautiful nails! LOL) felt badly for us and didn’t charge us that extra night! It is times like these that have us coming back! They are currently remodeling but it didn’t affect us in any way. I can’t wait to see the improvements because I think it is great the way it is! Also, there is a basketball court, a nice pool and a decent weight room (could use some free weights rather than kettle bells) but still gets the job done! We will stay no other place until our daughter graduates! Well done to this hotel! Like a home away from home!

Homewood suites always has great amenities friendly staff a clean facility and it’s a great location to stay. I have no complaints. I think it’s a wonderful hotel.

Clean & comfortable, very helpful and kind staff, truly one of the best hotels I have stayed at this summer … just note that if you have a very early flight, the shuttle will not be available, and a Taxi ride will have a high fee due to distance to the airport

It was beautiful building and had nice surroundings Around the pool and in the bathroom saw cockroaches

It had a nice pool and outdoor atmosphere was great and the breakfast was delicious and friendly staff

Everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. Nothing to complain about. everything met our expectations.

The breakfast was good! The kitchen staff were polite, but visited amongst themselves in Spanish and were very loud! We arrived in town after a long drive and hoped to check in a little early. Nope, not until 3pm.

I would definitely stay here again! property smelled clean the minute you walked in from that Bakersfield heat. Great customer service from the receptionist, housekeeping staff to night security guard!

Everything was good. Food, clean, big room. Staff was ok but they denied that there was a huge noise in our room. Sounded like a train. We figured out after a couple hours that it was the air conditioner. Made a big rumbling noise so we turned it as low as we could but it was hot outside so had to have it on some. We will stay there again though. The room was so nice.

Love the hospitality and cleanliness. However, there's slow drainage in the bathtub and it's weird hearing toilet flushing through the wall from the next room. Other than that, the property is in a awesome location.
