Aloft by Marriott Austin South

The reason why I chose this hotel was because it was at a good location and pictures were amazing. I had a very nice entertaining and bar with a kitchen area. That’s what attract my eyes in the first place., we were looking forward on relaxing on that area after dropping off kid in college didn’t want to drive anywhere and pictures really showed. It would be nice to spend the evening there went upstairs to freshen up bar was closed by maybe 6 with no notification we had to end up getting dressed an uber somewhere for dinner , there was plenty of other families complaining for this reason . I know it was not the concierge’s fault, but multiple complaints were made

The bed was super comfy! Nice bright lobby as well. The quality of the furniture or items in the room seemed like they were just a little older or unkept.

Excellent and friendly staff. One broken elevator, one extremely slow. Passed out homeless man with drug needle in room with ice on 3rd floor. Many homeless walking through parking lot during the day and evening. AC worked but was not great.

Bed was comfortable plus the AC. The room is a bit small but it was durable for a two night stay.

The room was nice and roomy with modern vibes and comfy beds. There were multiple plugs for charging electronics and it had a nice view. The bathroom door was missing a handle to help it slide easier when opening or closing it. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Staff was friendly and helpful, elevators were very slow. Other than that, the stay was nice and pleasant, would stay again .

Enjoyed the location near the center of Austin, made it easy for us to move around town in our visit.

Great service and clean rooms! The staff was great and was able to fix my issue as I appreciate the customer service

Hotel itself was standard: clean, comfortable beds, etc. The reason for the low rating is the lobby staff’s continuous lack of involvement to disruptive children yelling, slamming toys onto a metal table, climbing furniture, throwing various items on the floor whilst their parents were at the bar. I didn’t realize my stay included a day care. If this was a playground, the level of playfulness the children had would be understandable, but this is a public space being shared with other guests. It was nearly midnight and their parents were carelessly at the bar and the staff have zero regard for intervening.

Great location. Close to everything I needed

Nice staff, clean and quiet room, fairly spacious. Right at the intersection, good connection by car to the Interstate and downtown. Our AC stopped working. Staff helped us fast and gave us a new room.
