The newly built Acropolis Hill is the most recent gem of the Tour Hotel Group, in the area around Acropolis. It is located near the impeccable new Acropolis Museum and the historical center of Athens. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool. The stylish and contemporary guest rooms feature wooden floors and comfortable beds. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the premises. Some rooms feature Acropolis views. Guests enjoy great views of the Acropolis, the Filopapou Hill, the sea, and across the city of Athens from the communal roof terrace, located on the 5th floor. Since we were there in August the weather was very hot and our grandchildren enjoyed the pool. Like others have said, it is quite a climb from where the restaurants are. I still give it a 5 because the positives definitely outweigh the negative of the climb up the hill and stairs.

The view. Room smaller than a college dorm room.

Good central location. Likes the garden top area. We were in the basement room which was the only room in that area. The hallway smelled moldy which would make the room smell moldy.

Location and room. Pool and sun terrace but we were out in Athens all the while and the room was excellent.

The staff, breakfast and location is wonderful. A short walk to where all the buses and taxis are. If you eat in the local neighborhood, you get a great Greece experience with all the restaurants and shops away from the tourist. The rooms were small, but expected.

Clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was great with varied items. The proximity to the Acropolis and Parthenon was excellent as was the view. Just save some energy for the walk home as it is uphill from Platka.

Within walking distance of all of the sites that we wanted to see in the old center of Athens The breakfast was good I had correctly judged that the hotel would be close enough to easily walk to everything, but I didn’t quite appreciate the amount of climbing up and down hills that made walking the apparently easy linear distance a bit less pleasant than it would otherwise have been. Do not plan on taking the metro from the airport and getting off at the Sygous-Fix to walk to the hotel. The climb up that steep hill over very broken and uneven sidewalks with our luggage was not fun
