Helpful and friendly staff. Clean room. Great location within walking distance of downtown Asheville. Good breakfast!

I did not have a car so car app prices reasonable around city. Helpful that Red Trolley had a pickup at Renaissance Hotel across the street. Staff not trained well--I was not told about all amenities until I overheard Friday night manager greeting and informing other guests. Free exercise classes with Racquet Ball on site was a plus for me. I missed bar and evening meal available. Did use refrig in room to compensate some. Room air conditioner noisy but kept up with the heat.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The shower pressure could be better, but I like strong pressure, so that is just a preference. The room was clean and the fridge worked well. Andrew at the front desk was a big help with checking in a little early. Parking was easy and the hitel is within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops.

Room was dated, but the bed was comfortable. Overall, not terrible but not the best either.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The breakfast was delicious (though it’s not free). The pool was nice, clean, and very refreshing! Even though the property was older, it was well maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful and even had bottles of water for you whenever you needed one. The location of the property was very walkable to downtown. Also, they don’t charge for parking like many downtown hotels do. It is a great value for being so close to downtown.

location, everything looks nice I could tell mold starting on the bathroom from the lifting of the wallpaper.

Staff were very friendly. Self parking was included and located close enough to walk to downtown. Building is not new or modern looking but very clean. I would use it again when I visit Asheville

Our room was clean. The desk staff were friendly, helpful and competent. Natasha gave great service at breakfast and the cook had a cheerful attitude. Breakfast was a buffet, and they cooked our eggs to order. Parking was free. The only downside(s) were that generally the hotel is dated: the outside could use a freshening up as could the bathroom fixtures.

Reasonable hotel maybe a bit dated. Room was clean and comfortable, noise was at a minimum. The service at the restaurant/bar was a bit lacking, but the food was good . The hotel Wi-Fi was wide open with no password or disclaimer splash page. This is a huge risk to guests and to the business. I did notify front desk staff, and gave them details to tell their IT department. Easy walking distance to downtown, and also easy access to the freeway.
