Very good

Very clean and comfortable room. Shower was very satisfying. Has fridge AND microwave (which seems to be going out of favor). Breakfast was very good and entrees rotated so not every morning was the same. A wonderful hotel experience!

Clean and convenient Clean, but worn, needs some updating. Bathroom cabinet on side could have been cleaner, but counter top very clean. Need taller toilet.

it was an excellent stay staffs were friendly esp the reception lady she was anle to adjust our room very close to my brothers room. bfast buffet was excellent too

No complaints but the breakfast juice wasn’t cold at all ! And I went downstairs as soon as breakfast started and food was cold so it wasn’t delightful at all

We always say here when in Chicago. Right next door to Mitaua Japanese grocery store and food court, and near other great shopping. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable

The hotel does not have transportation to the airport and in the services they announce they have

Stayed for 2 nights. On the first night we went out to eat. We left one light on and the TV off. We came back and found the TV on, more lights on, and the pillows rearranged. We complained. The staff said they would try to find out what happened. The next day we were told that it was the cable TV guy that had been in our room. That seems highly unlikely. Why would he mess with the pillows?

Staff were courteous, carpet newly done and repainting walls during the stay. Didn't create any inconvenience.

I like the breakfast because there is rice

Even though they were doing repairs to fresh up the look you didn’t hear anything or smell the glue. Staff was great and the breakfast was good for being free

On Saturday July 25, 2026 I checked into this Holiday Inn for an event on Sunday July 26, 2026. I was shown 3 different rooms because the first room wasn't clean. The other 2 rooms were not clean either. I stressed that I would just take a refund because the rooms are not up to the standard of cleanest I prefer. Customer Service at the front desk became very rude and stated I couldn't get a refund. I was tired and had to prepare myself for my coming up event so Customer Service gave me the room key for the second room that was shown. I wasn't in that room for 30 minutes. I saw ticks crawling on the bed. At that point I knew I wasn't wrong for my feelings about the rooms not being clean enough. Customer Service came up to the room to see the ticks crawling on the bed and stated that I could now receive a refund and the manager will contact me. I packed up my stuff and went back to the front desk to see if I can get documentation of the situation and proof of a pending refund. The Customer Service was so rude! I was told I couldn't get proof of the pending refund. At some point I start to feel discriminated against. I was totally mishandled in the situation! I travel a lot. I have been to so many Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts and have never been treated like this. I paid $490.48 for my stay and was turned around after seeing ticks crawling in this business. I had to drive 2 hours to stay with a family member after this situation. I still don't have any updates.

We tried to reach the front desk but the line was busy. When we were trying to go to sleep after a stressful day people gathered in the hallway from a number of rooms socializing. Tried calling the front desk to no avail. No complaints about the breakfast or parking.

Good clean property

The breakfast was considerably better than often found in a Holiday Express or similar hotel and they have coffee machines that brew by the cup so you're not drinking something that has been sitting around for who knows how long. Room was typical but clean and everything worked properly. The bed was comfortable and they provide pillows of different types so you can choose what works best for you. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy and the staff friendly.

I would like to have an alarm clock in the room.
