Riga Suites Antwerp

Close to a metro stop. Liked the large comfortable bed. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in. Great location, near all the sites and lots of restaurants Would have been nice to have a table with a couple of chairs.

NO STAFF, DIRTY ROOM, IMPOSSIBILITY TO LEAVE THE LUGGAGE FOR THE DAY AFTER THE 11AM CHECKOUT AND NOT MENTIONED BEFORE.

The hassle-free check in. Lots of light, pictures look great. Inside room was hot and loud when window open, like sleepless night in a sauna, Air-con not functioning. Asked for room move/fix, nothing happened, everything full and no refund/ compensation of any kind from the hotel. A lot of time spent just trying to communicate, but nothing done. Bathroom was not clean and room was with dust (could be from the road). Highly recommend if comfortable stay/sleep is not your priority as location is great.

The really good restaurant downstairs (Brasserie Broiche) was a pleasant surprise. We ate there twice. Our room was rather large with high ceilings, a full soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The location was very convenient to Antwerp's historic city center, but the street itself was an awful, rowdy part scene. The noise on this street is intolerable. I don't understand how the city of Antwerp allows such rowdy disruptive public behavior to go on all night. We were awoken one Friday morning at 3:00 AM (it's 4:30 AM and they're still out there yelling), and then construction crews start up at 6:00 AM every day. This sadly cancels out any upsides this property may have. Plus: the AC makes noise but doesn't really cool the room, and sleeping with the windows open is obviously out of the question. And: this isn't really a "managed" property: no room service, no staff on property at all, really, we had to ask for replacement coffee pods. The elevator was down for a day, we had to ask to get it repaired.

The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, the location perfect. With a new corporate owner, it no longer offers any service. You get a text message with building and key code. That’s it. There’s no front desk service, no one from whom to get advice, recommendations, directions. No breakfast option. No one serviced our room during our stay. The personal touch is gone. The model is ok, and convenient, but impersonal.

You cannot beat the location and the staff was very sweet. The rooms are huge. It’s heinously loud. Like “hostel on the streets of Paris” loud. They desperately need some soundproofing on their windows if they’re going to try to market at these prices. Other major issue was a tepid shower in an otherwise lovely room, with an accompanying less major issue of a nonfunctional towel warmer.

Great location, close to the old town, action but not near the noisy crowds. Quality food for breakfast.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was absolutely gorgeous. The details were incredible. I wish there was a way to close the terrace door. I had to put a chair to prevent it from swinging wildly from the wind.

Hotel Riga very convenient and easy to walk everywhere. Accommodations are comfortable and modern. Very much enjoyed the property. Great service from all staff. Special mention to Michael. He was gracious, friendly and provided excellent service. Thank you! Nothing. Very much enjoyed!

Location , bathtub is nice and big The ac / heater seem difficult.. doesn’t work properly. Or maybe just one room .

Great location in the city center, extremely clean and tidy hotel. Cosy dining and breakfast area. Surprisingly spacious room. Very stylish. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything was perfect!

The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Historic Quarter. Staff were very attentive. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfy. We even had a nespresso machine for our morning coffees, which was a lovely touch. One of our rooms was upgraded too, which was a nice surprise. We chose not to stay for breakfast each morning, instead heading to the local bakeries which were easy to walk to. I didn't like the open plan shower, but that's just my personal preference.

The staff were lovely, specially Asli the receptionist, she is amazing! Also the big double bed in the room and the bath were great. Everything was good, just maybe a bit more light in the room because at night it was difficult to see the clothes in the closet.

Delicious breakfast. We also had lunch at the restaurant, which serves excellent Italian food. Five stars to the very sweet, fun and helpful staff (specially the woman who’s name I forgot). The room was gorgeous and the location perfect.

Beautiful property, the location was perfect in the city center with all of the cute boutiques!

Exceptional

The bed was great, and the room was very spacious. Overall it was really good. The heating didn't quite work, so the room was very cold all the time.

Duvet and pillows were nice, bathtub was also very nice. It was very clean (smelled great) and the location is perfect (but luckily quiet in the room). It would’ve been even better with 2 things missing in the room: a kettle and slippers. Overall, we had a lovely stay!

The room was big, clean, stylish. Comfortable bed, great shower, warm room. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful, welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying at hotel Riga. Nothing!
