Hotel De Witte Lelie

The Hotel de Witte Lelie in Antwerp is a riotously stylish hotel in hopping Antwerp located on a quiet street just five minutes away from the Grote Markt. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our comfortable room and the marvelously appointed common spaces, which feature a genuinely unusual aesthetic in which every object appears to have been consciously chosen and appointed. Service was attentive, and we enjoyed having cappuccinos delivered to our room within minutes of our request. And the breakfast is remarkably tasty, if a bit pricey. We were taken by Antwerp's energy and beauty and loved using the city's bike share program to get around. A seriously unsung city that ought to be on any European traveler's list! Nothing.

Our stay at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Antwerp was nothing short of wonderful, and it was the staff who made it truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the team was outstanding—warm, attentive, and exceptionally helpful. They looked after us with genuine care, anticipating our needs and going out of their way to ensure every moment of our visit was pleasant and stress-free. Their kindness and professionalism created a real sense of being welcomed and looked after, turning a simple hotel stay into a memorable experience. The hotel itself is simply stunning. Located right in the vibrant heart of Antwerp, it combines elegant design with a perfect central location, making it easy to explore the city’s rich history, charming streets, and lively atmosphere. And the breakfast? Absolutely excellent. Fresh, varied, and delicious, it was the perfect way to start the day. We left feeling completely cared for! Dogs are welcome. Staff super nice. Great location. Be aware that there is only one elevator for the main building. If your room is located in the other building, you have to carry your own luggage on extremely tiny stairs. The staff can help but at that time there is only one lady at the reception. Therefore, if you have mobility issue or heavy luggage asked for the main building

Somehow, they made a mistake, and the room I booked wasn’t available for the first night. We are all liable to make mistakes, but they were apologetic and owned it immediately. I was offered a stay at a nearby hotel that night and an upgrade to an apartment suite for the second night. We enjoyed the quiet location despite the central setting, the quirky décor, the excellent bed and bathroom, the standout breakfast, and the genuinely friendly service, which made the stay memorable. The place has a warm, welcoming feel that makes you relax the moment you walk in, as if we were staying in a stylish home rather than a traditional hotel. A small slip, handled perfectly, followed by a stay that delivered on every front.

This is a beautiful hotel. The decor is exquisite, thoughtful, interesting, fun and very stylish. The staff are engaging, friendly and really helpful. If you are fortunate enough to stay here a dinner at the restaurant is a must. The food was incredible, the chef clearly passionate about presenting delicious and interesting cuisine. It was such a treat. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this gorgeous little boutique hotel in a great location in Antwerp. Highly recommend if you want to experience something truly special.

This is a perfect location to explore Antwerp from on a quiet street. The decor is a lot of fun, though I admit it might not be to everyone's taste (we loved it!). The staff here are absolutely brilliant and really make the place, friendly & nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is great although its only open 3 days a week but it's definitely recommended. Breakfast was great also. Some kind of snacks or something available in the evening would be great. Just light sandwiches/ Croquettes/ salad or something would be appreciated for if you dont feel like going back out. Some comfortable outside chairs for the roof terrace in the room (they were reasonably comfortable but could be cosier) and for the courtyard would be great as there isnt relaly anywhere to sit and read outside without sitting at a table

Charming atmosphere and very good breakfast. We stayed in the very top room of the hotel which had a wonderful terrace and was so very fun and decor fabulous. The only thing we didn't like was the noisy airconditioning unit that came on and off all night.
