Hampton Inn Anchorage

Water was cold in room, I got stuck in elevator with anothrr 8 year old guest and had to pry open door to get out. The child stated he got stuck prior to this one. I had my friend stop others from using it when I ran to front desk to tell them..a guy went immediately to it seemed to take it serious but then no out of order sign was put on it. Others got stuck. Very bad experience. When brought up to reception they admitted they had been having trouble with hot water..no real sympothy for our group of 4, 2 of which were elderly mothers. And when I mentioned elevator again..she said oh your the one we heard had pry open the door..but still no urgency to block off elevator till it could be serviced or checked out. Over all very disappointed in my stay...I know this isn't standard practice, I have always chosen Hampton Inn as 1st choice...till now.

Went to take shower and had NO water I called the desk she came up and tried to get it to work and couldn't!! She was very pleasant and tried to get it to work! I believe we should get some compensation for all of the problems we had! Thank you Sharon Meints

Good location Either I was allergic to your soap you wash the bedding or a cat had been in my room as I had terrible allergy attack and slept terrible

Good location and nice restaurants near by Unfortunately systems were down and we waited almost 3 hours to check in with a 9 month old baby. It was hot and miserable

Very clean and there was a shuttle to and from the airport.

I reserved and paid for the room thru bookng.com but I was later told it was denied and they billed me directly. There was 2 people working running around the desk area. I was not told what they did. 1 night, 1 room for $810 !!!

Room was clean, breakfast was good

Great overnight stay before boarding the Alaskan Railroad with free airport and train station shuttles. Convenient to restaurants and staff were helpful. Breakfast was delicious!
