Exceptional Everything was good The hotel and the room was great The receptionist were both very helpful and kind Extra towels are already in the room The furniture looks vintage and this was great vibes There is no elevator and the stairs was not easy to use especially with luggage

Larger than expected room for Europe! Had a little fridge and couch which was nice. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Location can't be beat. No complaints.

Location is writhing minutes of walking to major museums and a grocery store. We liked a large room with high ceilings. Quiet. View of the garden. Helpful info binder told us how to take a bus straight to the airport. Room was ready early for us. We liked having a bar fridge and a kettle in the room. The show head was low. No hook to hang a towel in bathroom

Quite expensive. Some small improvements would make the stay better - for example, the clothes hook in the bathroom should be fixed properly, and soundproofing could be improved, as noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms could be heard quite clearly.

Great location near Vondelpark and Museumplein, nice and helpful staff, friendly hotel cat, and breakfast in the mornings. Room was clean and beds are comfy.

With the traditional Amsterdam home architecture, access to the rooms above the ground floor required climbing steep stairs with short stair treads. This is difficult for some to navigate, but hand rails on both sides helps one feel secure. And the staff was helpful with carrying the luggage up and down the stairs.

The historic style of the building and rooms was perfect for my 3 night stay in Amsterdam. Very clean, comfortable and friendly owners.

Nothing really

Hotel Verdi's ownership does a great job of making guests feel so welcome and cared for, from friendly reception to a reasonably priced fresh breakfast and comfortable rooms & beds in a quiet neighborhood setting. Nothing to improve on! :)

The breakfast was lovely and a good bargain for €10! Fresh fruit and yogurt, bread & butter, fresh cooked eggs to your individual liking, and coffee and juice. All in a clean, quiet space to start your day off slowly and peacefully. The staff/owners also were so friendly and helpful. They were keen for a good chat and also to help me with my bags up and back down the typical steep and narrow Dutch stairs! Also the location is amazing. Tucked into a residential side street for peace & quiet, yet just a short stroll away from the Vondelpark and lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Can't think of any negatives! :)

The staff was very good. He carried our luggage up and down the steps. He shared his vegan breakfast items with me. The room was also very good, it was clean and comfortable. The stairs to the room.

Great little spot if you’re looking to stay in a calm, nice part of Amsterdam. It’s in a fantastic location that’s a walking distance to great cafés, a big park with a beer garden, museums, and high-end shopping. You’re also just 3 minutes away from tram lines 2 and 12, which get you to the city center quickly. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming. Everyone made the place feel warm and personal. Just note: there’s no elevator, so the stairs could be an issue for some. If you want breakfast, make sure to request it the day before. A few things to be aware of: I didn’t get a towel during my stay, and there’s no parking or air conditioning. Minor things, but good to know in advance.

The customer service was wonderful, and the staff were very helpful. The stairs are steep, but the women still assisted us with our bags. They always greeted us when we arrived or left and made sure to ask if we needed anything whenever we spoke with them. The location was close to museums, restaurants, and transportation.

Our room was quaint and charming, with lovely modern upgrades to the bathroom and sink areas. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the entire suite was clean and well maintained. We also had a beautiful view from our window, which was a great bonus. The stairs are classic Dutch stairs—quite steep—but they have sturdy railings, so we had no issues navigating them. We opted for the hotel’s breakfast, and it was amazing. Everything was freshly prepared, including fruit yogurt, pastries, bread, cheese, ham, and eggs cooked to order, along with a fully stocked coffee and tea bar. We felt very safe and well taken care of during our stay. I would absolutely recommend Hotel Verdi to anyone looking for a cozy, smaller hotel in the Museum District. We loved it!

The hosts were very hospitable, they helped with my luggage on the steep staircase and also hosted it in their office for a few hours after my check out, as my flight was quite late that day. I traveled alone so I did not need much space, and my room was perfect for that. Both the room, the common toilet and shower were spotlessly clean, and the hotel's location is perfect for exploring Amsterdam.

Convenient location for museums and accessible by tram. The very steep stairs are no joke!

This was a wonderful property in a great location in a nice neighborhood. Located in a lovely area near the Van Gogh and rijksmuseum, a short block away from a tram stop and grocery store. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had wonderful large windows. Great for the price and very happy with this location. This is an excellent location but I do not recommend for people that cannot easily climb steps as you will need to climb at least one fairly steep flight of stairs if not more. This is very normal for Amsterdam.

The room was bright, airy, clean and with extra space to feel comfortable in after a day out. The windows onto the street had a nice view with excellent opening options for fresh air. The bathroom was modern and clean.
