Room size

The staff were very friendly and responsive. They carried our very heavy bags up and down the steep stairs! The hotel was cute, well-furnished and in a great location. Just good to note that there isn't a lift at the property. The stairs were very steep which was fine but important to take into consideration when booking.

Great location, close enough to walk to all the restaurants, parks and museums. The just is super friendly, offering lots of tips for things to do. We loved it all

Natalie was absolutely wonderful. Loved her personality. Great resource. Located in great location. Unavoidable in Amsterdam were the steps. Wish we could have been on the first level. Other than that I would highly recommend it.

Small and very comfortable property The room was a good size and provided a quiet respite after a busy day exploring the city. The reception area was inviting and provided a great view of the canals. The host was charming and very welcoming She was helpful with directions and recommendations throughout our stay. She made you feel like family.

Unfortunately it was very hot during our stay and the fan couldn’t cool the room down

The room was adorable, with everything we needed. Ground floor, which could be a little noisy, but by bedtime all was quiet. And we walked so much, nothing would keep us awake! Location was amazing, right in the middle of everything. Natalie couldn't have been more accommodating, helping us with bags, directions, suggestions. I wish we couldn't stayed longer!

Great location. Great owner. Super clean and tidy. Of course, like everywhere else, there are drawbacks BUT we came here to have fun and enjoy ourselves!! EVERYTHING was great. Just be careful the stairs are VERY STEEP and if you are a little older it will be difficult for you to make it. It was not a problem for us because we had already read it in previous reviews and we knew what to expect. SUPER hotel position and SUPER Owner!!!

Great location near the museums and Leidsestraat area. Hotel is a 5 minute or less walk to the tram station. Room was a lower level room that was larger than normal. Nathalie, the manager, was very knowledgeable and gave us several useful suggestions. Because the property is so old, no elevator or air conditioning. The stairs to our room were quite narrow and steep.

Really cute hotel in a good location, staff was very friendly and accommodating! The room was small and no AC or elevator so carrying suitcases up/down the steps was really tricky but the owner helped us. We knew we were paying for the location/view more than the room size or ammentites.

The friendly staff made the stay 10 out of 10. No Elevators and no AC, but that’s very common in Amsterdam. As an American, it is hard to comprehend a room without AC, but there was a fan that kept us ventilated.

Our room was lovely with 2 windows looking over the canal. The owners were very hospitable. The location was good off of the main drag, with public transportation very close. The value of our room was good. The steps were very steep in his hotel which we knew.

The hotel is really cute and the room was larger than expected, spacious, with a fireplace, sofa and a gorgeous view. I had a large suitcase and there are no elevators, but the owner was super nice and helped me both going up and coming down the stairs.

location was great, nice bathroom. Some time of insulation so you can't hear the people on the street so much.

The room was just right for us as a couple. Shower/bathroom facilities were great and the small double room was very well designed. Coffee pods on hand was a double bonus!

Location is excellent, staff were very helpful. Room was miniscule! Stairs are steep and dangerous. No elevator.
