Melrose Hotel

Great location and easy access with a lift. The AC worked great and it was very quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again for sure. The bathroom was in a cube in the corner rather than a separate room, so not much privacy.

everything was simple and clean and nice. nothing too exceptional about the hotel itself but great value for the location. staff was also nice, hotel was quiet and peacefull overall.

The best things about the property is its location. I also liked that it’s clean and the bed was comfortable. My room had adequate space. The lobby had a sterile feel to it and the furniture looked shabby. The bathroom offers very little privacy as it is frosted glass but you can still see the person in the shower. The room was a bit dark.

The room was very tight. The bathroom floor was quite slippery and the set up wasn’t that comfortable, although the space was well used. The towels and room supplies could have been better maintained. In the 5 days we were there, we ran out of tissues and shower soap. Neither was refilled and we had to request.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet. Nowhere to hang anything in room or put suitcase. Lighting was poor.

Very close to city center and attractions. Room is a bit small but great value for price. Feels safe and clean. Shower is semi transparent glass, not everyone may like it.

Booking.com charged me almost three times the rate when I arrived. Beware if you book a refundable room through Booking

Location was very good, close to shopping, public transportation and restaurants. Room was very small, had 2 twin size beds with one pillow each. Requested for a second pillow for one of the beds, didnt get it until I requested the third time. The shower area did not have a door (just a 2 ft or 60 cm glass partition) so the water would always come out to the toilet area. Coffee is only available for free for 3 hrs during the day. No ice machine for guests and was told by front desk that I can ask for it if I go to the bar nearby. Housekeeping did not clean the bathroom well, only had it cleaned twice durng our one week stay and the tile floors still dirty.

Staff and location are great. Room was filthy. Dirty sheets and luggage stickers stuck to chair.
