The roof top room is very clean nice and fantastic Everything was perfect …

The room was nice and clean. Colorful and it also offered some items in case you wanted to do a workout. There was a park really close and we could take the yoga mat to the park for an outdoors workout. The room isn't the biggest but compared to other hotels in the city center, this was perfect. Beds were really comfortable. The only downsize was that our view was to a main street and we could hear the traffic from our room. No other complaints.

No A/C (!)

the location was great, close to the park and public transport The wifi they gave us wasn't working, so we went to the reception and they gave us the password for another network, but it didn't reach the rooms. We went back in the morning and they said the issue was ongoing for days, so we had to work from the reception area, which was crowded (especially during breakfast time). They didn't offer any free coffee or pastries for the inconveniences. There is also no mini fridge in the room. My door wouldn't open fully because the bed was very close to it The shower didn't have a door, so the water splashed all over the floor

The lack of AC, when summers in general are becoming hotter. I think most places in northern Europe are unfortunately going to have to deal with this. It made sleeping and getting dressed after showers a pretty miserable affair, even with the fan

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first room faced the main road and was too noisy for us to sleep, but after we raised the issue, they moved us to another room immediately. They also provided a fan and kindly stored our luggage for a while after check-out, which we really appreciated. The rooms do not have air conditioning, which was uncomfortable during the heatwave. The bathroom could also have been cleaned more thoroughly, as there was some black dirt in the bathroom of our first room. The hotel is quite far from the city centre: the tram stop is around a 5–10-minute walk away, and reaching the centre sometimes required changing trams. As a result, we also had to spend more on daily public transport tickets.

There was no working Wifi in the whole place which was not communicated

It is not prepared for summer. My room felt like a sauna, the weather was nicer outside than inside. A hotel for me is meant to be your safe and comfortable place while traveling, where you can recharge and have a good rest. I didn’t get one good night sleep because it was so hot in the room. It is expensive for what it offers, it felt like an expensive hostel honestly. Would not return.

The hotel is so cute, room was very clean, very friendly staff, great breakfast, amazing cafes near the hotel
-
Location next to the park No air conditioning. The hotel is unbearably hot in the summer! To the extent that we left a night earlier and got another hotel. The housekeeping cleaning was basically changing the towels and making the bet only. No washing dirty cups or actual cleaning of the room!

I liked the amenities available.

The A/C was not working and it was 37°C outside. The room was like an oven. The staff said they received many complaints over the last days but they kept accepting bookings despite the issue...
-
The staff were very kind and friendly No air conditioning, the window couldn’t be opened for Frisch air, we had very hot days and the room was very hot. Working on the street were made by nights

- The property is centrally located and is about a ~20 minute tram to central Amsterdam. - They are a “conscious” hotel so baked goods won’t be wasted if not sold. They will be put out to be taken for free in the evening. - Rooms are nice and clean and the hotel is trendy. - Fans available by request at the front desk which is nice since there is no AC. (If visiting during a heatwave then mentally prepare yourself if you go out on tours and expect to come back to a cold room.) - There is NO AC in this hotel. The first couple of days were okay but the last day was kinda warm even with the fan running. - I had a delayed flight which ended up being a cancelled flight and I was charged a cancellation fee anyway when I checked in the next day. (If I booked the hotel for x amount of days then I already paid for it.. I should be able to check in whenever during those days? I’ve never had this issue and I travel a lot.) They refunded me the city tax for that day since I didn’t actually stay but still… something to keep in mind. - The doors to the room do not have peep holes to see who’s knocking outside. During the last day of my visit (at midnight), someone knocked on the door without announcing themselves. My husband ignored the knock given that it was midnight and the man just opened the door and tried coming in. He claimed to work for the hotel and said there was water pooling in the room below us… but coming into a room without announcing who you are is alarming. -There are two towers. If you stay in tower B then you will have to trek a little bit to get to your room.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is lovely. They offer breakfast and also have a cafe which is lovely. A nice perk is that they rent bikes on site and the bikes are in better shape than the bikes I’ve rented before. The hotel is situated right by a tram and Vondelpark. Very easy jumping off point to discover all of Amsterdam.

It certainly fit my needs. I would stay there again

Very clean, bed was comfortable, room was a good size, great location with the tram across the street and restaurants all around. Groceries close by. Coffee and snacks in the lobby were excellent and the staff was all so helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a decent, clean room for a reasonable price!

I had a fantastic stay at Conscious Hotel Vondelpark in Amsterdam. The reception team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help, making the entire experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The coffee place downstairs was excellent, with a cozy atmosphere and great coffee to start the day. We stayed in one of the large rooftop rooms with a private terrace, which was definitely a highlight. The room was spacious, especially compared to most hotel rooms in Amsterdam, and the terrace provided a wonderful place to relax. The room was beautifully designed, very clean, quiet, and equipped with air conditioning, which made the stay even more comfortable. The hotel is also conveniently located, with the nearest tram station only about a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to get around the city while still enjoying a peaceful neighborhood. What really stood out was the hotel’s aesthetic. The entire property is stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Combined with its great location near Vondelpark, it made for an excellent stay. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nothing

Loved the location The rooms are a bit smaller than we expected and the bed isn’t comfortable + you don’t have AC and can’t open the windows enough for air to come inside
