The hotel has a very good location, in a nice and relatively quiet area of Amsterdam, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There is also a Lidl within walking distance, which is very convenient. I particularly appreciated the coffee machine in the room, with the coffee capsules replenished daily. The complimentary minibar with water and Coca-Cola was also a very nice touch. On the negative side, the cleanliness could definitely be improved. Although the towels were changed every day, the overall cleaning of the room was only average. A more serious issue was the bathroom door — there was no door handle, which made the bathroom difficult and uncomfortable to use and is something that should definitely be fixed. Another thing to be aware of is that some of the rooms facing the inner courtyard have a shared corridor directly outside the room, so there is less privacy and you may hear people passing by.

Nothing about this place is to be liked, see below for more. The property was decaying and very filthy upon arrival. I found an insect on the mattress, crumbs and tissues everywhere. Upon seeing this I requested a refund and their management kept postponing the refund, I had to go in person thrice and still got no refund. Had to go through Booking to finally get the refund sorted. Costumer service for this property was appalling and very rude. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great location. Easy to get to and get around the city from the hotel. For the cost of the room, it was not at all what I expected. Nothing was wrong, per se. Finding the hotel was a bit of an issue. There are 3 or 4 hotels in the same building. Singage was a bit odd. And the whole experience felt a little odd. The room was perfectly fine. VERY small. Which is fine. It was clean. I just the the cost for what I rec'd was not equal. I think teh room should have been $70 cheaper each night.

We liked the location and stuffs’ attitude Room is old fashioned and the basin in the bathroom was clogged many times.
