I wish that breakfast could be offered before 7:30. I had to catch a taxi to the airport at 7:30 so couldn't eat. The coffee maker in the room didn't work well. The design of the shower, with the glass not extending the full length of the shower stall, means that water gets all over the floor. I know this is a common design in Europe but its messy. Otherwise a good hotel, attractive and quiet, in a great location. see above.

The hotel is well located as it is close to a tram station. The room was clean and despite being quite small it had everything that was needed.

Great location in Museumplein, 10 minutes from Vondelpark, close to 24 tram which goes to Dam square and Centraal, an Albert Heijn store nearby and many restaurants and cafés, hotel was very cozy, smell of fresh breakfast was fascinating, outside door to be open with room key card only, room a little small but very comfortable, no AC just a no sound fan which was enough as it got cold during my stay and no fridge and I like cold water Nothing, but be aware it's near a kindergarten so might be noisy in weekday mornings but they provide earplugs and I woke up early anyway

Wonderful and helpful staff and excellent location for visiting museums. We enjoyed our large room with its very large windows, giving plenty of light. Breakfast was very good too. Nil

The best thing about this hotel is its location - absolutely fantastic: right next to the Van Gogh Museum, on a very safe and quiet street, well connected to public transport by tram. The superior rooms are very spacious, bright large windows, clean, comfortable bed, good shower. The staff very friendly and accomodating - they kept our luggage for a few more hours after checkout and sorted some rental bikes for us. We felt really lucky to stay at such a perfect location and not spending a fortune. We will surely return! The only thing others should be aware of - the windows are really old, so while they are adding to the charm of the historical building, they are not temperature or noise insulated. This was not a problem for us as we visited in July, but I imagine during the colder months this could become an issue: wind and cold can easily get in.

They were very flexible regarding a date change. We accidentally booked for the wrong month (July instead of June), and they let us change to a new date. Location is superb!

Location - great near all the museums and easy walk into the heart of Amsterdam Steep stairs would be a problem for those with mobility issues.

This hotel is in the heart of the museum district, with amazing dining options in walking distance. The tr from the airport lets off on the back of the block of the hotel for very easy and cheap transportation. Staff was very polite. Room was very cute. We had room 26, which as one of the only balconies as well. Highly recommend! No complaints about this property.
