The area and the park surounding the hotel are great. Nice breakfast. GREAT staff! Extra points for the restaurant's terrace, that is literraly in the park. The bathroom supplies were just perfect - Marie-Stella-Maris Objets D'Amsterdam. Our mattress was stained, we have complained abiut it, it was never changed. The pillows and mattress were really soft, but this is just a matter of taste

Beautiful and very great location. Requests weren’t accommodated which I understand. The bathroom was incredibly dangerous and I did injure myself.

The history of the building, the ambience, the park outside and the art gallery inside the building, the activities like outdoor movies. Thw mirror is too high, not for short people haha. The coffee cups are aesthetic but not functional. It doesn't have a cup handle which makes it impossible to hold with hot water.

fantastic room and staff. it was my partner’s birthday on the 27th and they put balloons and free drinks vouchers in the room without a request. all round just a fantastic hotel

Great location in the park, attentive staff at the reception, bike rental, beautiful designs and overall vibe. Restaurant has poor service, all 3 times we were there, we have been waiting 20+ minutes for menus or submitting our order. While restaurant was half empty at best, and waiters were chatting among themselves.

Located within a beautiful park, can bike around, amazing staff, very helpfull The restaurant is slow to serve, quite dull menu closing at 22:00 and being the only place around i could have enjoyed a more fast serving, late night, richer menu

The location in the park was so lovely. I read the reviews about the stairs down the bathroom and it was definitely some steep stairs but after going down a couple times I was fine. The bed was large and fine to sleep on. The rooms are quite warm however we were staying during a heatwave and the aircon didn’t save us from how hot it was. The other reviews on the toilets and being glass. There is clear glass at the tops and bottom of the bathrooms but no more or less than a cubicle. The towels and rooms were clean when requested and halfway through our stay. There’s luggage storage to use for free for your last day which was so useful and it’s not too bad to travel to only slightly out of the way of the city centre and airport but I liked that.

The location within the Oosterpark was fantastic, as soon as you stepped out of the hotel you were immersed in this lovely large park. We knew it wasn't in the centre of town when we booked but since we're not really big fans of city breaks, this seemed a nice compromise between city and nature. We were happy to walk the 20-30 minutes to get wherever we wanted plus in less than 500m there were cafes and restaurants in case you felt lazy. The restaurant/cafe at the entrance of the hotel seemed lovely, we only ate there once but it was always busy so it must be nice. The structure of the hotel was interesting and was also one of the reasons we picked this hotel. Public spaces: The rooms were accessible only after passing through long and often confusing corridors, and there were long white ceiling-to-floor drapes along some walls which made it even stranger. The doors to the pantry/utility spaces along the way were often left open and it wasn't a pleasant sight. Rooms: Our room was really small, and the sloping ceiling made it seem even more cramped, I had to crouch to avoid bumping my head at times. The bathroom/shower was a glass rectangle on the inner side of the room, so it didn't have any ventilation and not much privacy as well. The aircon started to make a noise on the second night, not enough to ask for a room change but just enough to be annoying. To be fair, we booked a normal double room, perhaps the suites or deluxe rooms would be nicer. From the pictures, we didn't realise the room would be so claustrophobic. Service: We put the clean my room out the first morning before 11am as instructed, but came back to an uncleaned room. The next morning they did a cursory cleaning (poorly made bed, coffee cups not washed). The front end (reception, restaurant, the location) is lovely and raises your expectations, but the back end (services, cleanliness, room design, housekeeping staff) is a let down.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. . We were fortunate to get an upgrade to the Villa. A multi-room luxury suite. Wow. It was amazing. Very clean, modern and ever so comfortable. Location was a little out of town but close to bus stops into the city. Breakfast was included and provided a wide selection of hot and cold options. They also had a number of bicycles you could rent to explore the city. Nothing.
