Euphemia Old City Canal Zone Hotel

The location was impeccable. We loved the neighbourhood and it was also so easy to walk everywhere. It was safe and the staff was lovely. Definitely worth every penny and the next time im in amsterdam this will definetly my choice.

We could leave out luggages there before check in and after check out too. It was comfy and clean, with nice staff. Bathroom was perfect, it looks new. The A/C was clean, and worked well. There is no lift, stairs are extremely steep. The room does not have a mini fridge. The room is tiny, it is only good for sleeping. There is no space to put your stuff from your luggage. In Amsterdam most places are overpriced, this one too.

The rooms weren't the cleanest, had to go up 3 flights of very steep stairs every time, no hair dryer etc. The bathroom is also extremely small. Instead of a queen bed we had 2 twin beds, which were on wheels, so even when we brought them together they would drift apart as we slept :D

Friendly staff, cosy hotel, the staff are very warm and welcoming ! They made the experience even better, we felt at home and we loved the lobby, very warm and cozy! I'm gonna miss it and can't wait till I come back. The pillows can be more comfortable !

Just be aware that the bathroom is like a capsule, something similar to what you would get on a cruise, so everything is loud and well heard in the room

Great location central for everything, near great bars and restaurants. Rooms are basic but clean, warm and comfortable beds. Nice lounge area too. Nothing was perfect for what we wanted

Clean and comfortable bedroom and shower room. Pleased to find a kettle and mugs were provided. Steep stairs to the first floor bedroom

Location is Prime. Very close to everything… it is a small Hotel but very clean and best value. I have no dislikes about the property. I would recommend it.

Location is amazing and staff is very friendly. They’ve let us in the room 3 hours before expected and also kept our luggage after checkout. Definitely a good deal for an expensive city

An elevator for luggage would be of immense use in the property, given the narrow and steep stairs one must take to get to the higher floors of the accommodation.

avoid this hotel at all costs Nothing good. - price exaggerated, 508 euros + taxes for 2 nights for 5 people in a small room 10m2, with 5 bunks beds , no place for moving or to put our luggage.. - The price doesn't include the towels that are charged 3 euros each, (instead of 2 euros). - avoid this hotel at all costs
