Amsterdam Forest Hotel

Location very close to the Wagener Hockey Stadium in Amsterdam. The carpets in the rooms left a stuffy smell when you enter. We could however open the window for natural air to come in.

The hotel is really located in a calm zone. It's quite easy to go to the center or in another town nearby. The staff is really nice and the room was mostly clean. We almost left before our initial departure hour, ready to buy new train tickets last minute as someone scratch on our door during the night. There is quite a poor security system to enter the hotel as well.

The location for the hockey world cup was absolutely perfect. Short walk to the hockey turfs and bar and restaurants nearby. The hotel system with the group booking made it very hard to keep track of costs for rooms. Would suggest getting receipts for all payments including cash ad the tracking of these by the hotel was poor. Not all of our payments were included on our invoice on checkout so had to pay for services we had already paid for.

The property was in a great location to where we needed to be, it has amazing restaurants at walking distance. Great value for money

Comfortable roomy bedroom with decent bathroom The communal areas look a little tired (bedrooms look to have been refurbished)

Location and good Showers The eggs were cold, Cappucino machine was not working, no decaf, bread/muffin choices were limited . Worse than+ Holiday Inn express. Rooms are tiny.

The room overall was nice for the price The location is quite bad far from the center, very difficult to travel at night time uber/bolt are quite expensive and sometimes not willing to take you because of the location...

Great location for Wagener stadium and public transport to City Centre not far from airport Breakfast was expensive, matress toppers kept sliding off bed. Neither of which affected our stay

Convenient location Check in too late, check out too early, breakfast should be included in the price, room was nice because I got a free upgrade to deluxe however the pillows on the bed were stained and the evening chap at reception said they couldn’t give us anymore as they had none. Would have been nice if a mirror was in the room and not just the bathroom. Comfy bed, deluxe rooms are spacious.

the staff was very nice Far away from city center. doors don’t close very well, cleaning staff let our bedroom door open twice.
