The room was clean: the air conditioning in our room did not keep temperature at all. The staff was nice: The contintental breakfast was mediocre at best. Breakfast on Sundays last until 930, we got there at 845 and everything was empty.

Staff was amazing and does an amazing job to help me as I experienced a crisis in my move/trip while in Ames, front desk on check out was amazing!
-
The only thing we noticed was that the toilets seemed a bit low.

I reserved the Jacuzzi room and when I got to the hotel they told me that it was already taken and that i could down grade to a single king room and the rate of the king room was higher than what I booked the Jacuzzi room for then later I checked my bank statement and I was charged 3 times for different things with no explanations

Room temperature, not high traffic, breakfast was included Cleanliness, over priced

Our room was nice. The bathroom could have been cleaned in the corners and long the tub base very dirty , empty soap dispenser in shower. Very nice breakfast our stay was nice. We will be back again when the area.

Staff was very helpful!

I don't think that they even cleaned the room that I stayed the room smelled and there was someone else's hair in the shower and there wasn't any shampoo in there and I don't understand how you can charge someone that much money when it actually wasn't worth the amount of money that I paid and I never said anything because I know that nothing would of been any different and I didn't have any time to find a different place to go to It wasn't worth the amount I paid for the room that I paid for and I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone because it wasn't very clean I've stayed in other places and this was the worst experience I've ever had in my life

It was close to event and good breakfast. Our room looked as if it had never been clean and it smelled like cat pee.
-
Room was dirty, some kind of sauce splattered on the wall and hair on the towels. Overall walls shower and drawers were spoltchy/damaged. Staff were nice. A step up from a motel

Unfortunate event of flooding made the first floor smell like mold for a long time

The facility is older but still in decent condition. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. The room supplied a microwave, mini fridge, and shampoo/conditioner

I forgot my swimsuit so I didn't get to try out the pool, and I didn't get the breakfast, but overall it was a decent experience. One of the quietest stays I've had at a hotel in a long while, which was nice. My only complaint is the bathroom wasnt very clean.

It looked a lot better from the outside than it did on the inside. I also accidentally booked a suite instead of a regular room and there was a recliner to sit in which was nice. The shower also had great water pressure. There was never anybody at the front desk when I tried to check in both times I stayed there. After 20min of spam calling the front desk the first time I stayed, somebody finally came out from the back office to unplug the landline. They were on their phone yelling at somebody and ignored me until they ended their call. The second time I stayed there I had to spam call the front desk again but that time nobody ever came out. Instead I walked around the hotel trying to find somebody who worked there and after 10min I found a maintenance guy who tried calling the front desk woman who had left her phone up front. After another 10min she finally came to the front and told me there were no rooms that were ready since nobody was there to clean the rooms after people left so I had to pay a cancellation fee to cancel that reservation and go to a different hotel.

Close to ISU The shower could have been cleaner.

Location & price Dirty & dated common areas.

Pool was nice open area but did not use. The rooms were not clean. The floors had hair and dirt on them. The bed headboards were dusty. The room had a once over picked up look but were not clean. The shower curtain was hung inside out. The front desk gave minimal information. The water was shut off at 9am on a Friday morning without any notice. I was charged more for my stay on a Friday night than Thursday night and was never told, only saw it on my receipt. I would not stay here again.

Our stay for one night was fine, but it's a rather tired hotel. You can just tell by little things like dirty hallways with old carpet, a wobbly toilet, and old furniture, that it's been around awhile.
