Lovely beach views Could use a better mirror

If you want a truly authentic taste of Greek hospitality, this is the place. Love love love everything about Avgoustos, the host is incredibly kind and helpful, the family Taverna downstairs where Mom and Dad hold court is as close to feeling like family as you're going to get away from home.

This was a beautiful property - I loved every minute that I was here. The concierge that greeted me was excellent and responsive to everything I need throughout my stay. The room and private outdoor space were beautiful and the views were excellent. The breakfast that was included and served on my private balcony was delicious, and I loved being able to order "room service" from the lovely family-run taverna right below. All in all this is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed - highly recommend!

What a perfect stay!! The accommodations were gorgeous, luxurious, and clean. The breakfast was homemade and delicious and we felt so welcomed by Kula and the beautiful Ioanna, like we were family. Thank you for such a wonderful time xo Would recommend renting a car as this location is quiet and lovely but about a 15 minute drive from the main town

This location could not be more perfect! The family is so welcome and run the restaurant below - so very welcoming and the amenities are just WOW! Breakfast was so incredible and held us over to dinner! Stamatis was so wonderful!! 5 stars in all aspects!! N/A

Everything from start to end! Food was amazing, and the rooms were exactly like the pictures. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. Thank you Stamatis! We will be back! I would give this hotel a 6 star rating:) N/A

Exceptional

The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, The manager was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Be aware that this is not a traditional hotel, but rather a set of rooms located above a restaurant. There is no reception or standard hotel services, which makes it feel more like an apartment rental than a hotel. Given the lack of amenities, the price is too high for what is provided. We ended up leaving earlier than planned, but the manager was kind enough to understand our concerns and refunded us for the nights we didn’t stay. Overall, the experience did not meet the expectations we had when booking.

Excellent everything

It’s clean and with nice interior design. It pretends to be something it is not. It is a well decorated room with way too many automation systems to bedazzle you but ultimately it is not a luxury suite nor does it deserve this price point. The staff appeared in front of our balcony window which is supposed to be private and could see in our room - to ask things like if we want breakfast or clean up but it was very invasive. (Installing a phone instead of one thousand automations that don’t always work would have made more sense for privacy and communication). The location is also on top of a taverna on a very busy corner of Naxos thus not that idyllic. The main thing is that the room sells itself as luxury and premium and with pictures that show that and it’s a simply nice room that doesn’t deserve to be called luxury and rented at such a price point. I have stayed in aman hotels one and only and I don’t mind paying for something that is luxury if it is such. This was not the case.

The size and standard of the room was perfect. The people were so friendly but didn’t over step the mark at any point. The location was perfect for getting a restful sleep but still close enough to the action. No pool, just a hot tub, but the beach was beautiful! It even had turtles!!

Lovely room and view

What’s not to love about this hotel. It has everything you need, plus the view has to be seen to be believed. It’s a 10minute drive to just about anywhere you want to go. The staff and owners ( family run ) are the most gracious and friendly I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. It was a public holiday and big celebration were happening when we stayed. The owner sent us a messages weeks out from our stay to let us know and offered a refund of the night ( we declined) and also told us there would be a room at their other hotel 100 metres down the road if the music got to loud. The room was spacious and had everything you needed, it was serviced daily and the restaurant is downstairs a few metres and offers the most delicious food ( try the fried calamari). There is nothing to complain about with this accommodation.

Incredible staff that makes you feel like family! Loved the amazing breakfast overlooking the ocean each morning.

Staff was incredibly generous, the rooms are gorgeous, and beautiful view of the ocean. Room is very modern and beautiful. The breakfast was incredible and served on your private deck. Walkable to restaurants and the beach. Highly recommend.

Very modern and very upscale in the design, materials and furniture. That it was on top of a taverna called Gorgona and did not have the privacy that you would expect from the price you were paying. Also it was not on the beach, because there was a road that traffic was going by between the beach (which was like a small harbor there) and the taverna. Very small room, well designed though, its outdoor space was so much bigger than the inside but you could not really use it with 40° C outside..
